Why did the state rebel against incandescent bulbs

Since 2011, in the Russian Federation a ban has been imposed on the sale of high-power, more than 100 W, incandescent lamps. Low-power LED lamps have become a good alternative to stovattkas, according to manufacturers, ten times more productive. But to call them cheap language does not turn. Where do the legs of such a cool regulatory act grow from? We will understand in order.

Playing catch up?

As usual, although having quarreled with the West over the Crimea, our country is equal to decaying capitalism, at least in the sphere of technology. In Europe, such bills were passed a long time ago. We have the principle of "better late than never."

The undoubted advantage of this bill is a free niche in the domestic market, and if domestic producers do not miss, then they will compete with the West, and China. And by tradition, the West will put on its knees a low price, and China - a relatively good quality products.

The government claims that incandescent bulbs are incredibly voracious, you cannot save enough on oil and gas.

That's the way it is, but there is a nuance - the companies supplying electricity have to sell it to the population with a significant discount, while you can safely send oil and gas abroad for good money and divide the difference between this very population.

We are in Saudi Arabia, right? Or in Kuwait? We will share with us.

So far, the situation in the country is as follows: energy-saving Chinese lamps are inexpensive compared to diodes of any manufacturer, and Russia provides thousands of hardworking Chinese with work, who are happy to produce poisonous mercury-containing housekeepers.

By the way, it is necessary to dispose of them in special receiving points, they (suddenly) pollute the environment if damaged. And it would be okay if they had a normal lifespan - no, don't count on 8,000 hours of work. This thing won't burn for eight years, three hours a day. Lies and provocations are all the assurances of manufacturers.

And the price compared with incandescent bulbs is high. It comes to the fact that in supermarkets, resourceful buyers put housekeepers Philips, more or less high-quality, in boxes from under cheaper lamps, and calmly make purchases.

But this shop will close soon - from January 20, the housekeeper is also banned. And we will remain face to face with the Chinese LED, which is already on the market in bulk. Just because we do not produce this. And guess, is it much better and safer than the aforementioned light bulbs from the hardworking inhabitants of the Middle Kingdom?

Right. Once again we will have to learn to unwindly pack Western goods into bright eastern tinsel. Although ... It is likely to be meaningless. After all, pirates are not asleep and will transfer the famous product "Made in China" to the branded packaging. They also need to eat.

Summing up: the idea of saving and less exploiting mother nature is simply wonderful. But, as already mentioned, the views of our greedy authorities are not directed there. At least because of their economic interest in selling the bowels of our country that once belonged to the people.
