What are nozzles in the printer?

The printer has many details necessary for printing. One of them is nozzles. Let's find out what it is.

Printer nozzles: what is it

Dyuza is a printing element on the print head of the printer. There are many such elements. They have another name - nozzles. Ink flows out of the workers in the process of printing a document.

What are nozzles for in the printer?

Nozzles are small openings through which ink flows. The latter are used to print text or photos. The printer gives a specific command to the nozzles, so that ink flows out only at a certain moment (for example, you must skip spaces or paragraphs). If the nozzles become clogged, the text quality deteriorates. Then they must be cleaned.

Reference! The number of nozzles in one printer can be more than a hundred, and in modern expensive devices more than a thousand.

How to use

Nozzles are used in the process of printing documents. But you can check the nozzles themselves:

  1. We go to the "Start".
  2. Open the "Control Panel".
  3. Go to the "Printers and Faxes" tab. (depending on the version of Windows it may be called Devices and Printers).
  4. Our window will open. We are looking for our device on it. If the device is connected to a computer right now, its name should appear in bold. But remember the computer selects all the devices that are currently connected to it.
  5. We find the printer we need. Click on the name with the right mouse button. Select "Printing Preferences".
  6. We have a window where you need to go to the "Service" tab (most often the fifth in a row of tabs).
  7. There will be a few buttons. We are looking for a “nozzle check”. We read the description to it.
  8. Click on the button.
  9. We will open an information window. After reading it, you must click "Print".
  10. On the last window, “Nozzle Test Standard” is displayed. It will show if the nozzles need cleaning. We have two buttons - “Finish” and “Clear”.
  11. If the nozzles are cleaned, we must print a document. If not, click on the “Clean” button.

It is not recommended to do several cleanings in a row, since there is a risk of clogging the diaper counter. It is recommended to do a second cleaning a couple of hours after the first. More often than not, document quality is already getting good.
