How to remove vibration on an Android keyboard

Vibration is at times an unpleasant phenomenon, which now and then appears at any touch of the screen. Vibration is usually provided in the factory settings. Someone is annoying, someone refers to rattling calmly.

Instructions: how to remove vibration on the Android keyboard

This problem can be solved, at least on devices running Google’s Android operating system. It is solved by traditional methods - by setting some parameters, or by pressing a combination of buttons.

Experienced users note that the procedure takes several minutes for those who are poorly versed in managing the Android platform and ten seconds for those who have sufficient experience working with smartphones and tablets.

So, the algorithm to be performed in order to remove the vibration. A step-by-step instruction, the implementation of which will necessarily lead to the desired result.

Turn off vibration of touch buttons on Android

  1. The first step to be done is to open the settings page. In almost all Android smartphones and tablets, it is equipped the same way. There is a separate button, which is signed - “Settings”. The design may differ, it depends on the version of the operating system, and on the features introduced by the manufacturer.
  2. The second step: switching to the section of the settings page, which is called the “Input Language” in some cases, somehow differently in others. Regardless of the name, it is in this section that contains all the options that may be related to the regulation of typing on a particular keyboard, virtual or real. So, on the settings page of the Android operating system, there is definitely an item called “Virtual Keyboard” or similar.
  3. Under this heading is a list of keyboards, actually virtual, not physical, those that we see on the screen, and do not hold separately in our hands. Most often, this is the “Google Keyboard”, but it may well be Samsung, Nomi, Xiaomi, or something like that. There may be found the item “Voice input“ Google ”and“ Keyboard management ”.
  4. The settings subsection will become the point that should be visited according to the requirements of the algorithm. Actually in these settings, you can turn off vibration. On the page there is an item that is called “Vibration when pressing keys”. Move the lever by placing the function in an inactive position.
  5. Keep in mind that on a particular phone or tablet, the function may have a different name. But to understand that it is she, you can either from the context, or by checking what will happen if you turn it off.
  6. In the same section, you can change the sound settings and other parameters.
  7. Alas, that is not all. In addition to the touch buttons on the keyboard, there are also system buttons. We are, of course, talking about the buttons "Home", "Back" and other similar ones. And their settings are in another section, respectively, and you need to look not there. And there is nothing complicated in these settings, you just need to know about them and try to remember how to approach them.
  8. So, we remove the vibration on the system buttons related to the Android operating system.
  9. Here, too, you should open the settings page, find the “Sound” section, after it the “Other sounds” subsection. Actually, there is the desired setting. It is called “Vibration Response” or similar. And can be turned on or off.
  10. All actions end there, the vibration is turned off on all fronts and is no longer annoying. But if you get over it, reset it to the factory settings, you will have to turn off the vibration again. This time, indeed, in a few tens of seconds.

But this is not all types of vibration. There is still a rattle of the phone with an incoming call. This is a function that almost everyone knows. And it, too, is easily disabled in the settings, but in other sections.

So, another algorithm.

  1. You need to go into the settings, find the item “System”.
  2. There should be an item “Sound Profiles”.
  3. One of the four items has the signature “Vibration”.
  4. The checkmark in the checkbox next to it should be removed, and the problem can be considered completely resolved.

After such actions, vibration is turned off wherever possible.

Why can't I remove the vibration

If after the manipulations the vibration remains, then there may be two reasons.

  1. Vibration comes from some kind of application.
  2. The settings system has failed, and does not respond to user actions, or does not respond fully.
  3. When vibration is used in any authoring or system application, you will have to search by program settings until you are lucky.

How to solve a problem

To solve serious problems with the Android operating system, flashing is used. Actually, it will be a solution to vibration problems as well. If the platform has lost control, it should be updated, or replaced, that is, reflash.

If the update is carried out in the standard way, then flashing, as a more responsible event, should be delegated to specialists who can be found in the corresponding service centers. Otherwise, there is a significant risk of demolishing the system and still go in search of competent professionals.
